Terms of Service
Effective date: April 23, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Junymo (“Junymo”, “we”, “us”), an AI-powered customer support service for Shopify merchants. By installing the Junymo app, embedding the Junymo chat widget on a storefront, or otherwise using the service, you (the “Merchant”) agree to these Terms.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to do so.
2. The service
Junymo provides:
- An embeddable chat widget for Shopify storefronts.
- An AI agent that answers customer questions, looks up orders via the Shopify Admin API, and performs support actions (refunds, exchanges, address changes) that the Merchant has authorized.
- A merchant dashboard for reviewing conversations, tickets, and analytics.
Junymo is provided as a software-as-a-service. We may update, improve, or modify features over time. We will give reasonable notice before removing functionality you rely on.
3. Subscription and payment
- Junymo is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Pricing is listed on our website and in the Shopify App Store.
- New merchants receive a 14-day free trial. No charges are made during the trial.
- After the trial, subscription fees are billed monthly in advance via Shopify's billing system.
- You may cancel at any time from the Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds for unused time unless required by law.
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. Price changes do not apply retroactively.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Junymo to send spam, harass customers, or violate applicable law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass rate limits or access controls.
- Resell or sublicense access to Junymo without written permission.
- Use Junymo to process payment card data (PCI data), protected health information, or other regulated data categories we do not support.
- Misrepresent the AI as a human to customers in a way that violates consumer-protection laws.
We may suspend or terminate service for violations after giving you notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure, except where immediate action is required to protect other merchants or end-customers.
5. Your data
You retain all right, title, and interest in your store data, your customers’ data, and the content of chat transcripts. You grant Junymo a limited license to process that data solely to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to send customer data to Junymo (for example, that your own privacy policy discloses the use of AI-powered support tools).
6. Availability and support
- We target 99.5% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance when possible.
- Email support is available at support@junymo.com with a 2-business-day response target.
7. AI-generated responses
Junymo uses large language models (currently provided by Anthropic) to generate responses to customer messages. While we design the agent to follow your store's policies and configuration, AI output can occasionally be incorrect, incomplete, or unexpected. You are responsible for:
- Reviewing the AI's configuration and policy instructions before going live.
- Monitoring conversations in the dashboard and intervening when needed.
- Setting appropriate approval thresholds for refunds, exchanges, and other financial actions (this is configurable in settings).
Junymo is not liable for commercially reasonable AI errors; we provide tools (confirmation prompts, spend limits, admin review queues) so you can control risk.
8. Intellectual property
Junymo and its underlying software, branding, and documentation are owned by us and our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the service to you. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the service during your subscription.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Junymo is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Junymo's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will not exceed the total subscription fees paid by the Merchant during the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
11. Termination
You may cancel at any time from the Shopify admin. Upon cancellation or uninstall, we will delete your store's data per the schedule in our Privacy Policy. We may terminate or suspend service for non-payment, breach of these Terms, or unlawful conduct, after giving notice where practical.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the merchant dashboard and via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington.
